The project is driven by an initial fascination with urban plants, stirred together with walking around the neighbourhood with a dog and transformed into a daily habit of noticing and wondering. It is tied together by the theories of multispecies, mainly those of Anna Tsing and Donna Haraway. As a case study, a part of the neighbourhood of Moabit in Berlin, rebuilt in the 1980s, was observed and mapped over a few months to trace and vaguely cluster into fluid types the possible relations of plants and humans living there.The project’s conclusions are learnings shaped by process and perspective shifts, rather than material proposals in termn of urban design. The reader is encouraged to fragmentarily replicate the process in their environment.
