The landscape of Lori Mountains, Armenia was explored through sound — by collecting field recordings and mainly women voices. The focus is on plants known from the home-landscape, comparing their use and meaning in Armenia and Czechia, drawing on childhood memories, traditions, and local names. This process serves as a tool for relating to unfamiliar landscapes. The work reflects on how memories, stories, and practices like foraging and gardening resist extractive systems and foster deeper connections with both the landscape.
